Lowsec has targets, but the days of catching missioners in super fancy ships are mostly gone.

I apologize if there is a thread about this somewhere but I can't locate the specific information I want. I've played EVE since 2005 and I've accumulated 47 mil SP in PvP skills but I've been away for years. In the past I've done nothing but piracy and some 0.0 small gang PvP (which didn't appeal to me). For me piracy died due to the lack of rewards offered in entering low sec space, I abandoned my pirate ways and entered high sec to do some high sec warfare but unfortunately that also resulted in people just either being logged off or staying docked. That was then, this is now and I have no idea what things are like now.

How is low sec piracy? In the past I would fly 55 jumps and get 2 or 3 kills soloing. Now please don't take this as an opportunity to tell me how uber you are as a pirate and how you've gotten 10 kills in one system before, etc. I could regale you with tales of astounding victories outnumbered and outgunned and tales of resounding defeats. So can anyone please give me the low down of how things are going in the pirate game these days? I'd love to get back to -10 sec status but if things are same old same old then I'd rather just keep my -1.9 and do something else.

Can anyone give me their opinion on how it's going? Is it worth it to sign up with a pirate corp once again and don the skull and crossbones?

Low sec is impoverished pirates shooting other impoverished pirates, while waiting for the occasional noob or mission runner to walk into them. It felt like a slum.

The money is in high and null sec I think.

Get a group of people and poke moon mining stations and POCOs. Best way to lure out a large group of people from what I have seen.

Now dealing with an angry blob... I'll defer that to you. I am probably the last person to give out tactics, since most of my tactics entails dying a noble tackler's death, or getting sniped.
